New Worlds

The idea of a clan mappack was first suggested by Hundredth in a thread titled 'Åsgard Worlds' with simply 'Go on, i dare you' in the body of the post. This thread was posted in December 2005 and recieved no replies.

In March 2006 ex member Cakes revived the subject with a new thread after a conversation with Hundredth, but this again recieved little support from the rest of the clan. Cakes departed from Åsgard a few weeks after, so the topic went back to sleep once again.

Åsgard Worlds

In May 2006 Åsgard Valkyrie SewerAssassin made the first map for Åsgard's first mappack - Åsgard Worlds. He then went on to teach Hundredth how to make maps himself, which resulted in a further thirteen original maps (with contributions also from Radiance [Heimdall Gates] and ex member Fury [Töm]) and two Pressure Point mods completing the mappack. Åsgard Worlds II

Our second mappack proved to be an amazing addition to Åsgard's honours - receiving a ridiculous amount of attention compared to the first, and actually getting an 'official' release. Semi-new additions Drummerdude, Staszek and Hundredth were the main contributors towards this mappack, providing some excellent maps, pulling off some magnificent effects with alacn's map editor.

A Fair Beginning

Together with other members of the community outside the clan, Radiance has been working on a pack of mods of the five original four player MP maps. You can read more about it and download the beta here.
