Clan Matches

[AsG] vs [sS]

In November 2005 a young [AsG] challenged rival DT seperation southernStyle. Due to pretty piss poor communication on both sides, and many sS members leaving the clan during the period none of the games planned for the December month actually happened. The four :TB games were as follows:

In February 2006 [AsG] members such as AdamDM began negotiations with rival clan The Dark Masters regarding a clan match set up. TDM unfortunately never responded with their choices for teams..




[AsG] vs [cae]
[AsG] vs [Rw]

Summer that year was rife with clan match proposals, unfortunately mostly from king of chongs.. Dash (BlackWidow). July saw his challenge on behalf of new clan Caedes, which Åsgard promptly declined. [cae] died literally less than 10 days later. A month later [Rw]Dash came back with the idea of an Åsgard vs Royal Widows tournament which again, we said 'no, fuck off' to.




[AsG] vs [AcM]

Åsgard welcomed another new clan - Alto-coolo Masterz - into the community with a clan match challenge of their own. Like soldiers AcM surprisingly accepted, which resulted in Åsgard's first successful inter-clan event. 3/5 non-pre-planned games were completed as follows:

[AsG] vs [AcM] was based on a loose set up, with no predecided teams and games working around a 'whoever's available' basis. Åsgard pulled out with a 3-0 victory after numerous game dodges and displays of poor sportsmanship by clan leader [AcM]Rapid (Ric_Man). Shortly after AcM disbanded.




[AsG] vs [TDM]

The clan match with TDM was again prospected for August / September 2006, but didn't actually succeed until November that year. In contrast to the previous clan match, this event worked with a very strict set of rules - teams and their relevant levels would be released (traded over IM) on a set date, and were that not to be changed apart from in dire circumstances. Despite this agreement TDM did change their teams, prompting a final change from AsG also. 4/5 games planned were completed, all on the agreed set date:

Due to a serious family incident the final game was not played on the arranged date, and subsequently was never completed:

[AsG] vs [TDM] ended with the final scoreboard at 2-2.





[AsG] vs [xXx]

After a reclusive 2007 (albeit many grandiose clan-only tournament successes) Asgard accepted xtreme X-xiphyas challenge of a clan tournament. A small, 3-game competition was agreed on the three most popular levels. No set time period was agreed for the January event, and the clan match was eventually cancelled after numerous weeks of frustration at occurences such as clan leader Skylo refusing to play his game upon request, favouring his PS2 over populous. The following games were planned:

Again, as the result of this clan match precognitively suggested.. 2008 saw the end of [xXx].




[AsG] vs _DT

December 2008 proved to be a momentous month in pop:re clan match history, as the reformed Dragon Team accepted AsG's challenge of a 5 game tournament. Again the popular FO, PP and CR were planned, with one new world choice for each clan added into the mix. The followed three games all went in favour of original DT 2005 seperatists, Åsgard!:

The following two games were not able to be completed on the set weekend.

[AsG]Salty & [AsG]Drummerdude48 vs Taity-mini_DT & Lixydoon_DT on Dragon Team's choice of A Narrow Passage (Fate Worlds)

The Narrow Passage game was completed with a fourth Åsgard win at a later date, however both Inspire_DT & Stephanie_DT quit DT before we could complete the final game, thus granting us victory by default.
