Here you can read about Åsgard members' involvement with tournaments for the whole community.

'God of Gods'

  • Organisers: [AsG]Ragnj and [TDM]Raven
  • Timescale: February - April 2007
  • Winner: [AsG]Sub Zero
  • Runner-up: [Rw]Dash
  • AsG Participators: Ragnj, Sub Zero, Storm, NanoSaurus, MentiX, Fury, Keith52.
  • Overview: A double elimination bracket, with the first round on Face Off, second on Craters and the third on PP. Both semi-finals and the final used a 'best out of 3' system with games played on all three of the aforementioned maps. NanoSaurus claimed 3rd place, MentiX 4th and organiser Ragnj finished in the 7/8 position.

'God of Craters'

  • Organiser: [AsG]Ragnj
  • Timescale: March - May 2007
  • Winner: [AsG]Ragnj
  • Runner-up: [AsG]MentiX
  • AsG Participators: Ragnj, Hundredth, Storm, NanoSaurus, MentiX, Radiance, Salty
  • Overview: Using the same format as 'GoG', all rounds up to the semi-finals were just based on a double elimination bracket. Semi-finals and final = best out of 3. Åsgard claimed four out of the top eight final standings, with Storm in 3rd and Hundredth in 7/8 place.

  • Timescale: cancelled
  • AsG Participators: Hundredth, Boyd, NanoSaurus, Ragnj, Peaveyplaya, SewerAssassin, Shakkazulu
  • Overview: Two single elimination knockout brackets, one for a 'higher skill' crop of players and one for a 'lower skill' group. Although the tournament went unfinished, Ragnj made it through to the semi-finals of the lower skill bracket, and Nano progressed through to the quarters of its higher skill counterpart.

  • Timescale: tbc
  • Winner: Keith52
  • Runner-up: [TDM]Genesis
  • AsG Participators: NanoSaurus, MentiX, Cakes
  • Overview: Smudgey's first successful tournament saw both AsG representatives MentiX and NanoSaurus eliminated in the quarter finals, with Sub Zero dropping out due to personal reasons in the early stages. 'God of Dead Sea'

  • Organisers: [AsG]Ragnj
  • Timescale: cancelled
  • AsG Participators: Ragnj, Hundredth, Storm, NanoSaurus, MentiX, Radiance, Yekralc, Fury.
  • Overview: Again using Ragnj's signature format, this tournament was very Åsgard-dominated despite never reaching a climax. The quarter final of the winner's bracket saw Sub Zero facing NanoSaurus for a place in the grand final, with Radiance finishing in the 4th round and Hundredth and Ragnj waiting for other players to catch up in the 3rd round.

::more soon::

Other tournaments such as [Rw]Dash's multiple clan tournament, Smudgey's 'Europe vs ROTW' event and numerous tournaments set up by WackyAnimation have not been included in this history page as they pretty much never left the ground due to poor organisation, lazy participants etc.
