About Åsgard

Born in 2005, Åsgard has grown to become more than a game's clan and an online community, Åsgard has become a family.

To be part of Åsgard

Asgard is the best and most special clan out there.

With members from all over the world collaborating and cooperating in projects that reach beyond the Populous: The Beginning online front, Åsgard has become a special place, a home for friends that in most cases have met each other in real life, and consistently work to keep the clan alive throughout the years.

In these pages we tried to summarise and offer all the information Åsgard has gathered throughout the years, which still falls short to the amount of events, projects and moments we’ve lived as a clan.

Over fifteen years of community have lead us through countless moments of laughter, lenghtly discussions and precise decisions, constant evolution to adapt to the ever changing online scenario, real life events and ever strengthening friendships, and naturally, many thousands of games.

We have a hierarchy system consisting of mainly four levels:

  • A High Council, members who co-lead the clan and veil for its success.
  • A Council, members chosen either by the High Council or by common recommendation of the clan as a whole, who work in synergy with the High Council and participate in decision making.
  • Members, players with different profiles and sometimes different roles, whose main responsibility is to have good fun.
  • Newly added members and recruits, players with successful applications that have recently joined the clan, and are getting to know the members and general functioning of Åsgard.

We assign ranks to different roles, the names of which are based on Norse Mythology. Many of the ranks have a history behind them, and we have listed them all in this page.
